This Charming Man
6 minutes ago, Shadow Play said: McIntyre in his post match interview complaining about the type of signing available in a January transfer window. He seems to forget that it was at his insistence we managed to prize United’s highest paid player over to Dens on a 2.5 year contract! The man is completely delusional. He also complained about the culture at Dundee had to change but refused to expand on that comment when invited to do so. Just another example of his confused waffle at interviews. Good evening. Agree totally with the above posting. The man is now history, unfortunately only apparently he thinks otherwise, 10 in a row and still counting!! If he possessed any decency, humility or grasp on reality the first thing he should be doing is apologise and accept his part in this ongoing debacle. This gentleman was long enough between jobs to have done his professional homework and realised the position of his new employers prior to his appointment. Or as I suspect, was Billy Dodds' the reading and writing component and indeed brains of this former partnership. As for his 'cultural' rant regarding his current employers, he may or indeed may not wish to explain himself when he stands tall before the man to receive his pending P45. Best regards.

I think he regretted mentioning ‘culture’ the second the words left his mouth. The brass kneck of McCann was also eye-watering stuff. A couple of absolute charlatans that shpuld never have been near the job. Sad times, clearout badly needed.

The only possible explanation (although still not acceptable) is that there is indeed a relegation clause.
ravabelli
Anyone else a bit meh regarding the relegation? Personally not too fussed, the team have been utter crap all season and anyone with an ounce of footballing knowledge would see early doors we were heading down. Don't usually go to the old firm games and replacing games against the likes of Killie, Hamilton, Motherwell, both Saints with Utd, Dunfermline, Thistle, Inverness etc is much of a muchness. Personally find the top league quite dull, always the same winners and play the same teams too often Edited May 4, 2019 by ravabelli

Hopefully it's because there is a clause in his contract which means he gets f**k all pay off in the event of relegation. Doubt it though. Imagine having the brass neck to blame McCann and the "culture". The man is a clown. Hopefully Nelms does the right thing and ensures he's not in the dugout next week or ever again.

yoda
Martin Woods has played for 3 clubs in the last 2 seasons and all three have been relegated.
Louis Litt
Looking forward to a break away from the football, this season has been by far the worst I can remember and hopefully some time away and a complete overhaul for the playing and management side of things can bring a bit of a buzz back around the place.

Relegating the DABs was pretty funny, but let's face it, following Dundee is akin to eating a shite sandwich most seasons. I haven't genuinely enjoyed a football season since about 1999/2000.

Ludo*1
I thought McCann spoke well on the radio. Deluded c**t thinking he'd change it but everything he levelled at McIntyre was fair.
Dee Bliss
Good to see The Derry roasting McIntyre at the end. The apathy towards the team and our manager since February up until the Nelson substitution today was worrying. He truly is a woefully bad manager.
