Lawlor not in the squad tonight. Unless he got injured today or has an illness I'd imagine that suggests he has a move lined up?

Won't be the cheapest back up keeper in the league considering he's previously been a first choice down South.

Would give us more money to play with in addressing the defence and as of today, up front.

Unlikely to make it with us. Meant to be a decent set piece taker. Gordon Strachan's grandson.

Only played a couple of times for us so you'd be better asking Forfar fans how they feel about him for a true representation of his skills.

Wide player, would say left back as that's his usual position but when I've seen him in reserve games recently he's been up on the wing. Has pace and a bit of skill, don't think he'll make it at our level but he did more than five for Forfar in League Two last season. He's also got a decent corner delivery in him, got a few assists for them last season. Should hopefully handle League One fine.

Hopefully he'll do well with you guys, this is his chance to put himself in the shop window before his contract finishes with us. Never really had much of a chance with us unfortunately.

Fair play to Bowyer for the changes he made at half time BUT I just don’t get the starting 11.

Plenty on here have repeatedly said that Rudden cannot start upfront isolated on his own and relying on the long, big punt up the park.  Get that sorted Bowyer!  Either don’t play Rudden or get the team passing better (difficult with the midfield we have).

Interesting as it was him we were linked with before?

Parish apparently been offered a coaching role at another club.

Why is Luke Mccowan not starting every game lmao.

I found it bizarre as well.

It takes the weight off McMullan and stretches the opposition on both sides of the park whilst giving support to the striker.

A striker has to be the main priority but a quick creative Midfielder is also a must. After that, a better LB and GK would be good.

Marshall should be nowhere near the team next game.

I'd rather have Kerr at LB and French at RB.

Exactly this. No idea why bowyer is tinkering with the team this way and putting McGhee in midfield. Goal aside tonight, it's not the answer. Neither is Max to be fair, he's just too much of a passenger.

He doesn't fit in the 3-5-2, but Marshall does. Problem is... Marshall's shiter than McCowan. The last game, Bowyer opted to go to a back four with McCowan in and we got punished for it.

Long story short, our squad doesn't really suit any particular formation (which I still blame on McPake). The number of times Bowyer's had to try and fix games in the second half with multiple HT subs this season is pretty ridiculous. Thankfully Williamson will be back for Tuesday, as without Gowser and Mulligan he's about the only midfielder I trust to play with some attacking intent... though I don't trust him as much to keep his heid.

Winning the league or relegating the tangerine morons across the road in a play off.  I know what I'm picking.

Which?
