Scottishyeltz
What exactly would the quickest way be to get another referendum and turn it into a "YES" vote this time? I would like to hear the views from the political minded posters in particular.

ScotlandGer
I'm relatively, if not overly, optimistic for SNP-Green coalition at 2016. If Yes can successfully highlight the inevitable shortcomings from the 'Vow' to those actual powers delivered, and we face the prospect of an in/out EU referendum, there may well be enough momentum behind Yes to justify another go. Moreover, if face the prospect of English votes for English laws this slightly undermines the BT arguments for the need for Scottish influence at Westminster through our MPs. If the UK also finds itself at the periphery of Europe, this undermines the argument of BT that Scotland can exert influence only through Westminster. The EU in/out referendum will also be pretty divisive and, I imagine, fairly alienating for a lot of people up here. I'm fairly convinced Labour will continue to shred support and, with the SNP occupying left more firmly under Nicola, and with independence being 'normalised' as a concept for a lot of folk, I think more will be open to the Yes message. welshbairn
Just sit back and wait for Westminster to pull us out of Europe, the European Court of Human Rights, and the "Vow".

Only for the Yes campaign to bring it back to 4-3. After the No campaign made an arse of the second leg. AS pretty much said it in brutal terms. In that we need to wait a decade or two for the older generations to die out.

It's got nothing to do with any established/definite period of time. As an aside, it is highly amusing that some among No seem to have genuinely thought independence would disappear on the 19th. Bless 'em.

ICTJohnboy
Winning a massive majority of seats in the UK election would do away with the need for another referendum.
