FlyerTon
Looks like whipped in gusts up to 70mph on Friday / Friday night. If the Met Office uprate this to a storm, it will be named 'Desmond' http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/public/weather/warnings/#?tab=warnings®ionName=st&fcTime=1449187200 http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/public/weather/surface-pressure/#?tab=surfacePressureColour&fcTime=1449187200

As of 11pm hadn't got through Penicuik centre. Abandoned cars everywhere, jackknifed lorry and a bus crash blocking road.

Scary Bear
In his bin. When the storms arrive it's the unfortunate souls who live in wheelie bins who I feel sorry for. I see them hurtling down the street and I pray for them. RIP.

Zen Archer (Raconteur)
It's more to do with a big crack they've found in the bridge than just the weather. It's going to be closed til New Year. Getting in and out of Fife's going to be a total pain in the arse for thousands of folk.
