Meant to be going to Belfast tomorrow, A75 shut just now with downed trees and the ferries have been cancelled. Also, my gym is closed due to a power cut so that’s my afternoon plans done. GET ON THE BEVVY.
paranoid android
Front door blew wide open earlier, then the side windae blew open - tonight's work pub quiz has been cancelled - need to brave the storm to nip out for beers - it's worth the risk, imo.
Homer Thompson
D&G have declared a major incident. Lots of trees down, power cuts and roads closed in town due to falling roof tiles, chimneys etc. All the kids are being kept in school and not allowed to walk home by themselves

Unleash The Nade
Just overheard someone in Falkirk say , “ it’s like the end of the world “ A bit of an over reaction and not sure if they were commenting on the weather or the state of Falkirk High Street

Scary Bear
I did a risk assessment at the train station this morning and decided against travel and to work from home. Great call! I am a credit to the public sector. All trains to Fife appear to have been cancelled. Scotrail obviously carried out a risk assessment too and decided ‘f**k it, let’s stay at home.’
