I see timekeeping isn't Jim's strongest point. 5 mins late for hustings last week, 5 mins late for 'Call Kaye' this morning.

Then again, he's never had a proper job in his life, so it's to be expected.

He was also late for the Radio Clyde interview in Edinburgh last week. All rather shoddy but I think it is more that he needs the five minutes before each appearance to check with London to see if there have been any new pledges since his last interview. Not so much the "no-one will tell me what to do in Scotland" as "no-one will tell me what I need to do in Scotland"

Fawning Guardian coverage on the website of how Nicola just wanders about places with crowds thronging around her, builders cheering her from scaffolding etc. Today, Jim Murphy and 14 cameramen are singing songs and doing jigs with three life-long Labour pensioners in a staged shoot in an OAP home. Beyond delusional.

A refeshing change of tack from oor Jum, when asked about the poll. Oh, wait...

Commenting on the poll result, Scottish Labour leader Jim Murphy said: "This is another bad poll for the Scottish Labour party, it’s another good poll of course for the SNP, and it’s another fantastic poll for the David Cameron.

"David Cameron can’t beat the Labour party here in Scotland, so someone else has to do it for him.

"That way David Cameron gets to cling on to power because he’s the leader of the biggest party, the likelihood is David Cameron will remain Prime Minister, not because Scotland went out and voted for the Tory party but because Scotland voted against Labour for the SNP and reduced the chances of Labour forming the government.

"There’s much still to play for in this election a week’s a long time in politics and we’ll keep going with a huge amount of energy and a determination to turn much of this round."

Interviewed on Sky News, he said: "Let the pollsters poll & let the voters vote next week."

Apart from it not making any sense it also shows why Labour are where they are in the polls

Does he not understand that the electorate aren't voting Labour because they don't want them in fucking power. It's that fucking simple!

This. He keeps going on about Cameron being the bogeyman.., not realising that the Scottish people see him as the bogeyman

The thing is - Cameron is almost as popular as Milliband in Scotland (ie not very).

It's a daft tactic, but I don't think they've got anything else at this point.

Milliband is less popular in Scotland based on latest poll.

Labour are scum imo. For 3 decades all they have had is u need to vote for us to keep out the torries... and off they have popped to WM to abide by the English Whip and expense and salary away.
