Cowdenbeath fans must be disappointed their team is last though, right?...

You want a team that's willing to get stuck in, especially in the lower leagues.

It's no surprise they also have the worst goal difference. Sometimes it's best just to concede the foul on the half-way line when the opponent is on the counter. It's a guaranteed yellow card but it could potentially avoid a goal.

Absolutely agree with the above two. Sometimes you need to commit clevel fouls when a team is breaking and take a booking. We don't do this at all, we are far too soft and have been for years. I wouldn't want us to turn into a team of dicks (well I actually would) but we are always the nice guys. Never time waste either.

No surprise the team with the worst disciplinary record is top of the real table. No footballing skills but they've kicked all the other teams off the park. Only have to look at the highlights of last Saturdays game against Queens to see how bad they were. That was with a lenient ref as well.

Thugs.

Usually the teams with the better disciplinary records finish nearer the top of a League. Last season Dumbarton, Cowden and Dundee (in that order) were at the top of the 'fairplay league' with Alloa and Livingston at the foot. Some of the Cowden players maybe more prone to bookings have had spells out injured this season. I do think we might benefit a bit from having a couple of players to add steel to our squad but by the same token the clubs with poorer disciplinary records tend to suffer from increasing numbers of suspensions as the season wears on.
