East Stirlingshire v Clyde

Recommended Posts

Tell you what, I fucking hope the striker is Colin Nish, as has been rumoured on here. I think he'd be a cracking signing at this level. I was a ballboy when he scored a hat-trick against ICT the first time around 8)

As for tomorrow, I don't have a clue how things will turn out - there are a lot of unknown quantities being chucked in there. I wonder if BF is actually placing too much hope on 'experience' digging us out of the hole we'recurrently in, at the expense of players who can actually still run the length of themselves. That being said, the signing of Neil 'experience' McGowan back in 2010 was one of the best moments of my life. So aye, who knows. Mon the Bully :thumsup2

You should have paid attention when you were ballboy to your duties. Nish never ever scored a hat-trick for us. He did however grab a brace against ICT at Broadwood.

Nish had left us by the time Shields was signed....he only ever was there until 31st December. The match in the report was attended by Martin A'Ppeal, who fucked off at half time after Gilhaney handed Tokely and Mann their arses. Following weekend, Caley pumped them. Again.

Danny Masterton spotted in Broadwood Farm tonight.

presumably spotted his nose walkng towards you five minutes before the face arrived - thick as mince too.......thirty seconds after being booked at Hampden for a late lunge at Derek Atkins well after the keeper had dived on the ball he head-butted Alan Rennie (from behind!) leading to a frantic Crag Brown leaping from the dug-out to shout "Go down Danny, go down" - cue hilarious scenes five seconds later when the brain cell clicked in and he fell down clutching his face in mock delayed reaction............"Clyde leg-end"

But what a player and goalscorer, though.

Not a great game but the 3 points are the main thing in a game like this. Good to see McManus get an important goal his hard work deserves.

Cant wait for i"m john mckays analysis. Wonder what he will moan about this week?

How anyone can criticise McManus is beyond me. Worked really hard throughout, with no support at all in the first half, and took his goal well. Not a great performance but 3 very important points, esp with Montrose and Elgin both winning.

A win next week and an unthinkable playoff charge could be on!
