Gaz FFC Posted March 9, 2015 Share Posted March 9, 2015 Just a wee question but what's the going rate for consistently getting the lowest ranked team in the draw? I remember saying years ago to a Hibee friend that Hibs seem to regularly pull out the hat the weakest team and here we are again. I'm guessing it was easily 5 years ago. Maybe a Hibee could put up your Scot cup run for the last decade to see if it stacks up Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
La_Leyenda Posted March 9, 2015 Share Posted March 9, 2015 Voted 4-3. I think Hibs will make the final but will not lift the cup. Inverness Caley Thistle will lift the 2015 William Hill Scottish Cup. This for me as well. Would be a terrific final as well. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
bhoy who invented weetabix Posted March 9, 2015 Share Posted March 9, 2015 Hibs could be 4-0 up going into stoppage time in a final against 8 man Gala Fairydean and still contrive to lose. Hibs and the Scottish Cup......its just the way its meant to be Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Highland No 1 Posted March 9, 2015 Share Posted March 9, 2015 Hibs winning the cup Hibs fans thinking every year is theirs Hibs Think ICT would have a better chance of beating Hibs than beating Falkirk in the final, that's if we manage to get to the final. Cmon ICT. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
sjc Posted March 9, 2015 Share Posted March 9, 2015 Nah......I suspect Celtic or Dundee Utd will win the Cup. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Gaz FFC Posted March 9, 2015 Share Posted March 9, 2015 We are all using Utd like a scud book. It's their job to beat Celtic and then kindly let Falkirk lift the silverware Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Newbornbairn Posted March 9, 2015 Share Posted March 9, 2015 Hibs don't have "a year". They've never had "a year". They've had an occasional "month" though. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
So Money Posted March 9, 2015 Author Share Posted March 9, 2015 Hibs don't have "a year". They've never had "a year". They've had an occasional "month" though. What do you call a successful period for Falkirk then? A half? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Marshmallo Posted March 9, 2015 Share Posted March 9, 2015 I would be very, very surprised if Hibs don't win the Scottish Cup this year. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
LinkinFighter Posted March 9, 2015 Share Posted March 9, 2015 Yes it is. It would be a disgrace if they failed. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
mrpaddyx Posted March 9, 2015 Share Posted March 9, 2015 Unfortunately I think the winners of the other Semi will go on to win the Cup. Correct, there is no stopping the Raith juggernaut! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Cruoninga Posted March 10, 2015 Share Posted March 10, 2015 When we win the cup this year, I'll probably suffer from some feeling of guilt towards previous generations of Hibs fans who have followed the club week in week out for decades without any cup glory, while I've only been following them for seven years or so from a large distance. sjc Posted March 10, 2015 Share Posted March 10, 2015 Their greatest achievement. In fairness, Falkirk are the only team to have beaten runaway Championship Winners in the League this season. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
banana Posted March 11, 2015 Share Posted March 11, 2015 Easiest run to a final you'll ever have. It's this season or never (again). Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
~~~ Posted March 11, 2015 Share Posted March 11, 2015 Yes we all know they haven't won it since 1902. Why do the media and pundits mention this on almost a weekly basis when any football discussion regarding them. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
