fan of the juniors
The only reason they have a sponsor is the agreement that the final will be played at Pollok every season If a was the gentleman in question a would have walked away after my -St season sponsoring it . jimbaxters
Are all clubs represented at these meetings? Also, were New Coin Automatics present at this meeting? Why not make the sponsor feel part of the thing.....who knows it might just inspire future sponsors!
Brig O'Lea
The clubs only attend the meetings on the last Thursday of January and April. Until this current season clubs also attended the last Thursday in October meeting but a proposal was unfortunately voted through at last June's AGM that the October one was to be dropped. So the clubs now attend at the end of January, April and June and that's it till next the end of the following January.
PRICEY
Surely to fek they could just draw this on a grid system at the start of the season?.This would allow clubsto see their passage all the way to the final.Im sure there would be clubs with idle saturdays that could be filled in. Arthurlie1981
How hard could it be to set up a webcam and live stream the draw. Also agree with pricey's point above that a grid draw could certainly be something worth considering.

They won't let that kind of technical mumbo jumbo be part of it.

peasy23
How do some people manage to hear what the draw is and others don't? Very strange. Real does make you wonder. Don't know why anyone would sponsor these cups considering they don't even publises the draw! If you have someone on the management committee you get to hear the draw. Simples. As Kennie Young alluded to when he quit, there is a strong mistrust of social media among the game's hierarchy, yet if one of the committee had posted the draw on here last night every club involved would know what it is by now. My point being of all the clubs in the draw nobody has stated what the draw is for sure! Not saying Jack is wrong cause he is probably right with what he has heard! If they hierarchy have mistrust with social media then why let Scott Campbell sit in on some of the Scottish cup draws and post them on his on Twitter feed! I appreciate that is his own Twitter account but he gets the result of the draw out quickly to all the junior club and fans! So time for the hierarchy to get with the times! Football moves on, the world moves on and so should they!
Shannon
Kennie was a good guy to have on SJFA West Committee as he would always post the draw on here after his drive home. Surely the West Region committee could email the draw out to the club secretary's then it would be on here in no time to let supporters and committee know. How do Talbot get to know theirs but no other club did?!

Jacktonite
Greenock away then winners possibly playing Buffs, couldn't have asked for better draws!
PRICEY
Good that the full tourney has been drawn, but why cant they do this at the start of season, can only think it would help the fixtures man. Same with the regional knockout cups, drawn in January, though I would give clubs a fixture pile up the option to withdraw.
