Knee height might hold more credence if he'd actually hit the boy full on, rather than just trip him up.

It was reckless, high, and at pace. You can't expect to go in at that pace at knee height and not expect a red. It was a stupid way to stop the break.

But it seems to have worked out for him.

Not sure Forfar have bottled it (folk seem desperate to throw that accusation out). I don't think they've performed that much worse than the first leg. That slow motion, black and white silent movie esque catastrophe for the second goal and the dismal marking for the third, combined with Alloa being much improved in defence has done the job.
