Jacksgranda
They will undoubtedly be looking at ways of undermining him and ousting him without it looking like a coup, I can't however see any way they could accomplish this. Ill-health? I know politics can be a dirty business, but they're hardly going to assassinate him, surely?
Bishop Briggs
They will undoubtedly be looking at ways of undermining him and ousting him without it looking like a coup, I can't however see any way they could accomplish this. If they do succeed in getting rid of him it will be at the cost of tens of thousands of Labour members and supporters. If he remains as leader then I am not sure how he brings everyone together as they are most definitely too broad a church. interesting and amusing times ahead. Do you remember how the establishment got rid of Francis Urquhart in the House Of Cards?

RedRob72
Not surprising to see you're using the same vile mental health potshot as the Daily Telegraph. Oh, right wing people Absolutely nothing to do with his own mental health Fidey, it's his politics, and that his views can be acceptable to a majority of Labour members. They were in the shite pan already and have now flushed the chain.
Alan Stubbs
I'd say they've taken a perhaps optimistic clothes hanger to the blockage. Probably not going to work but choosing Burnham or Cooper would've been doing nothing and pretending their house doesn't really need a functional lavvy anyway. jmothecat
Pretty shocking if you ask me. A republican atheist not singing a song called 'God Save the Queen', what could he possibly object to? There are a lot of things that in my opinion are perfectly valid criticisms of Corbyn, but by vilifying him for not singing a quite frankly odious national anthem it makes the entire attack seem petty. Naive of him not to sing it? Probably, but who out there is shocked that it wouldn't make one of his Desert Island Disks choices?
Jambomo
If he had sung it he'd have been slaughtered for bending his principles now he's leader or some other shite. He did the best thing by behaving respectfully whilst not singing the song. I wouldn't sing it either, it's shite.
bob the tank
On newsnight just now former labour voters in Hartlepool are totally ripping Corbyn for his policies and even for the way he dresses. Most are going to vote UKIP. Not a socialist view to be heard. The fat lady has sung for labour in England as well now, just like Scotland

RedRob72
You not seen Tory policies? Aye, what's your point Rico? Pretty sure there's millions of us that don't feel represented by the Tories, SNP or Labour! The Liberal movement has fallen apart, and UKIP are way off the credibility scale, it ain't easy at the moment!
Alan Stubbs
Definitely watching PMQs tomorrow. We should get a real sense of how delighted the Tories actually are about Corbyn. If their comms since Saturday is anything to go by, I'm predicting Dave seeming a bit more rattled than they'd like to make out. Regardless of how much faith you have in Corbyn (I'm swaying from indifference to very little) this kind of thing will be a lot more interesting. Can't imagine we'll see much more of the "well you did this in govt...equality" vs "but you did this in govt too...hardworking families" vapid shams that these things usually are. I don't think I've heard Cameron debate anything in any depth ever, I'm looking forward to Corbyn's leadership for that. Skybet have another word bingo type thing going if you like yourself some lunch break gambling. "Austerity" at 1/2 to start off a Chsmpions League accumulator seems good value to me.
