The Minertaur
Back in 1928 Cowdenbeath had a tour of Germany and ended up playing the German Olympic side twice. Narrowly lost 5-1 and 4-2. We then played a German XI side twice and lost 8-2 and 5-1. Think that's the correct scores. Not all doom and gloom abroad though - we drew 2-2 with Ballymena in pre season a few years ago. One of just 5 Cowden fans at the game.

TrueDiamond
Didn't you beat Bayern Munich 1-0 in 1989? Or is this recent wins you're only counting?I was at that game. Iain Ferguson scored. Cost me a tenner to get in!! Big money in those days!
Swello
For the number of times we've been in Europe, we singularly failed to make any sort of impression at all - we've largely been utterly shite and are a total footnote in Scottish terms. We never qualified for Europe in the early days of the competitions despite having some good teams and so we've got no glorious wins to look back on. Beating Aalesunds of Norway was probably the only decent 2 leg performance we've put and that says it all.
Eednud
You still in dreamland after the injection. You did indeed, but we horsed you in the big cup the next Wednesday "Forfarshire Cup of all Great Footballing Nations" Had to dig out my copy of They Wore The Dark Blue and no game against The Loons that season. Might have been the team that still wore black & white back then you're thinking of.

scillybirder
What is your teams best result in European football? For me as a Rangers fan, its Lyon 3-0 away or the 4-1 win over PSV. Beating then German Champions Cologne 8-1. Aye technically Morton have been in Europe but must be the only team to qualify for a European Competition without actually needing to use passports . We beat New Zealand 1-0, in New Zealand in 2002. Our Euro exploits since the advent of colour TV don't warrant a mention.
