Dundee United 2015/16 Season

Recommended Posts

It's been confirmed by McKinnon.

Where did you hear that Mckinnon's confirmed it? He probably will sign/has signed but there's been no statement.. Are you talking about the newspaper article that was printed saying that he will sign later on last night? Do you believe everything you read in the newspaper? Until something's been released by the club confirming it then its not been confirmed?

McKinnon quoted in the paper today - "I'm delighted to get him on board for next season."

Anyone else think we should sign Ainsworth and Erwin from 'Well and Grant from Falkirk

Wouldn't say no to Erwin as competition for Muirhead but Sibbald's the guy who's impressed me most this weekend. I imagine his next move will be to a bigger club than us but there'd be no harm in asking. Obviously he'd command a decent fee but we might make some money on Ciftci and Fojut and he looks like a guy who would move on again to bigger and better things sooner rather than later.

Erwin is a decent player. But Muirhead is a similar player, and has more potential imho.

Players like Ainsworth are needed by every club - we are short on pace right now.

Wouldn't mind Erwin, wouldn't be cheap though.

I don't see him as the same as Muirhead though, he'd surely come in to play in the front 3 behind the striker on the right or left.

He's out of contract so probably somewhere in the region of £200k to £400k.

Didn't know he was out of contract. Definitely worth a punt for the development fee then, fits the bill for the kind of player United are trying to bring in.

The Tully linking us with Mark Durnan from Queens and Lee Camp from Bournemouth. Says Camp 'lives on the outskirts of the city'?

Thought Durnan looked decent in the play-offs against the Undead. Would be hoping he's not a direct replacement for Fojut though, with the Webster rumours seeming to have disappeared into the ether.
