Johnny van Axeldongen
If Blatter is voted back in I hope he runs onto the stage and slides on his knees giving it the ol' double fist pump to celebrate.

FlyerTon
A shot just there of 'New Caledonia' - named that by James Cook after he thought the north east of the island reminded him of Scotland. It's now a french territory. Edited May 29, 2015 by FlyerTon

HibeeJibee
Of course Vanuata, who'll be up shortly, used to be the New Hebrides: this could be utter nonsense but it was once a French-British condominium and I believe they decided which side of the road people should drive on by the chance of whichever side the first carriage off a ship selected. EDIT: http://www.portvilavanuatu.com/vanuatu-history.php Driving in Vanuatu is on the right side of the road and in the early days of motoring, when Vanuatu was governed by both the French and the British, the French drove on the right side of the road and the British on the left. Legend has it that the problem was settled by agreeing that the next person to drive off the boat would determine the side of the road all in Vanuatu would travel on. Yes, the person off the boat was a French man, and now all in Vanuatu drive on the right side of the road.
