Kudos to the English officials btw for demonstrating sublime, textbook shitebag refereeing on Monaco's decent penalty shout. The Valencia defender was nowhere near touching the ball controlled by the Monaco forward in his challenge - the goal-line assistant was literally two yards away from this incident, and could therefore clearly see that this was the case. Deciding not to award a penalty, the brains' trust instead opted for, erm, a Monaco corner. Making a c**t of an offside decision or simply missing a foul in a crowded penalty box is ultimately an honest mistake; inventing a token decision to shirk making a big call is the height of incompetence. No. It had been expected that when a game was on 'Showcase', the relevant normal BT Channel would be unencrypted.
