If it finishes like this, Swansea will have won 3 games on the bounce. Looking resurgent under their new boss (100% record since he was appointed but didn't actually take charge of the first). Newcastle and Norwich are a bit adrift of Bournemouth at the moment but I think Newcastle will turn it round. 3-0 Spurs too. One team usually unexpectedly gets dragged into it too, though.

Spurs just keeping it going, in under the radar.

Ive a funny feeling Pep wont be the raving success everyone expects of him, tbh. Citys budget may be infinite but the EPL homegrown rules and squad size limitations could absolutely ruin any attempt to build the squad he wants. You look at Citys squad and only the likes of Silva and Aguero really stand out as being close to the type of player and level of player hes used too.

Agreed. There's far too much fawning over him - and the challengers in England will far outweigh those he's faced in Germany.

said this elsewhere on here, he walked into a barca team containing messi, iniesta, xavi, puyol etc, done well with them but didnt have to really build anything, just upgrade a few spots, took the bayern job where he again walked into a champions league winning team, upgraded a few spots but kept the core good world class players

city is a different ball game, they arguably need a whole new back 4, a proper striker to carry them when aguero suffers his usual 5-10 games a season out injured amongst other things

maybe he can do it, but it will be some test for him

hasn't Dunning already comprehensively destroyed this myth that Guardiola had an easy job at Barca on here?

Surprised people still believe that one. He had some excellent players at his disposal, granted, but he took some bold decisions when he went there which managed to improve them in the long run. Plenty of managers probably wouldn't have been willing to get rid of Ronaldinho and Deco, while Guardiola could probably be credited for putting a lot of faith in players like Busquets and Pique who have ended up being key for them over the years.
