Bundesliga 2023/24

Recommended Posts

As a bit of a stadium nerd I quite liked seeing the layout of Dortmund and Union's stadiums while empty. I had to laugh at the diddy SPL back in the day demanding 10,000 seats when Union get into one of the best leagues in the world with 3,600 seats.

I don't have a problem with commentators using the German/correct pronunciations for team like Union, I'd like it if English commentators could do the same for teams like Falkirk and Forfar

How does Union Berlin supposed to be pronounced differently?! 😂

It should be Oh-ny-oan, not Oo-ni-on - it's Union not Ünion.

I'm all for broadcasters attempting local pronunciation, but don't if you can only butcher it.

No idea why Hargreaves doesn't correct them.

Good website, I used to get ripped on in Scotland for talking about Han-nofa Sechsundneunzig, uncultured swines.

Talking of which, would tomorrow's game against a fellow Niedersachsen side be considered a derby? Osnabruck seems like it's pretty much in NRW
