Yeah I have a pal who lives over there so been to visit a few times and went on a tour and an 1860 game as well. Even for a Bavarian derby against Ingolstadt it wasn't even half full. No surprise they got out of that deal. Edited May 23, 2020 by Rodhull

Having seen 1860 at both the Allianz and at Grunwalder, the 1860 fans are much happier being 'home' anyway. They hated the Allianz. It is brilliant, and because it is their local part of the city it is full of 1860 stuff, in all of the cafes and bars. Cracking atmosphere. A really good ground with plenty of character. They had talked about building a new stadium but not sure what stage that might be at.
vikingTON
Referee must have a 9pm dinner reservation, zero stoppage time at all. -
Sherrif John Bunnell
Schalke and their clowngloves goalkeeper are back in action right now. He's already let in what looked like a saveable free kick.
vikingTON
David Wagner may not be a very good manager. -
Ro Sham Bo
Shalke are an absolute shambles. How long has Wagner been in charge for there?

He seemed out of his depth in the English Premier.
Stellaboz
Anyone needing a laugh should find highlights from Köln's visit to Schalke earlier this season.

lichtie23
Iv said it before and il say it again. VAR is killing football
craigkillie
What did VAR do wrong there? The officials on the field made a correct offside decision and VAR didn't intervene.
vikingTON
Mainz should be about eight or nine goals down here. -
craigkillie
Genuinely one of the worst performances I've ever seen here from Mainz, and I used to watch a team managed by Gary Locke.
