Think you're being slightly misleading there, discussion isn't tantamount to agreement.

"your legislation has to be in alignment with existing European rules would presumably not be too difficult for Scotland, compared with, say, Montenegro. And that might enable them to move faster than others"

Yes, that's right! You can compare such things as the NHS to any other part of the UK!  Maybe not a good idea after all eh?

The NHS has been every Party's favourite political Football for the last 40 years. To compare the pressures that the English NHS is under at present with the relative stability we currently enjoy in Scotland is nonsensical.

I wonder why you didn't choose School Education standards for example? The very future of Scotland.

Also gives more time to consider a judgement on the SNP's record in Government, which can only be a good thing for the No vote.
Think many more will conclude, "do we really want this f*ckin lot leading us into the wilderness"!?

Oh Rob. If folk don't like the SNP's record they can vote for someone else. I'm sure Ruth, Kez and Willie will give us the confidence we need going forward.

Still, a wilderness where we have no tuition fees, better NHS performance, free prescriptions, see cultural diversity as a positive thing ...

Nobody wants that sort of wilderness when we could have Theresa and her ilk for generations to come eh?

Independence is a no brainer unless you're wired to the ethics of a football club or are so risk/change averse that you'd rather be patted on the head and told out will be alright before you step out the house in the morning.

How many?
More or less than gave the SNP their vote in the last 3 holyrood elections and last Westminster election?

Predictably selective, consider the wider context in the link..

Minor said the commission’s position on Scottish membership had not changed since the independence referendum in 2014, when it repeatedly said Scotland could not automatically take up separate membership just because it was part of an existing member state.

You're the one that startedthe "wilderness" pish. Show me a political party that gets every single aspect of government spot on and it'll be unique. The SNP have been broadly competent for the last 10 years. Their support has continued to grow. Just contrast that with the Labour party over the last 10 years and ask yourself who is really the wilderness party.

"It would have been fast tracked after the 2014 referendum too".

That's nice RR but the coming ref2 will be on independence.

Aka "don't talk about that - it makes my ultra-BritNat Tory and Labour parties look bad. Talk about this instead."

Yet again, the point RedHandRob fails to grasp is that trying to say we shouldn't be a nation state if we don't like the policies of one party also goes for the UK nation state. The Tories and Labour makes a mess? Dissolve the UK as a national entity! That's the logical outcome of his argument re Scotland.

Ladbrokes offering 4/6 on No 2nd Ref before 2020.

I understand your hurt and anger, Robert.

It must be hard for you cap doffers knowing that Unionist parties are the ones currently slowly killing the United Kingdom.

All we have to do is sit back and watch it all unfold.
