FlyerTon
Saturday 13 July 1985. 30 years since Live Aid. Did you watch it at the time? An edited 4 DVD box set came out ten years ago (still available for about £20) Here's the Queen set. They took to the stage at 6:41pm that day. PrestersKTID
Awesome gig, watched most of the acts on youtube. Ultravox were particularly good live. The Queen set, I think, beats their wembley gig the following year. 10 years since live 8 aswell. Mental.
Black Craig
Superb gig! Remember watching the lot of it on TV! Queen, U2 and Bowie were my highlights :-)

Sonsrock
I was there. Look for the dafty with long hair, bumfluff tache and a Quo tshirt when the camera pans into the crowd near the end of Rockin All Over The World

paranoid android
There had been rumours that Ringo and George would be joining Macca on stage - probably for the best that they didn't. It got a bit boring in the afternoon, so I nipped upstairs to listen to Abbey Road for the first time ever, and it blew my mind more than anything else did that day, tbh. Stayed up until 4 in the morning to see 3/4 of Led Zeppelin, who were underwhelming. Queen stole the show, obviously. Good times.

tamthebam
I got relegated to the back room to watch Live Aid on the portable black and white by me Dad (not a pop fan, unless you count 50s era Elvis) who wanted to watch something on the colour telly in the living room. I can remember the Queen set and also Dire Straits..
