Ross.
Basel all but won the Swiss league again yesterday with a fairly comprehensive 4-0 pumping of Grasshoppers, despite playing most of the match with 10 men after their top scorer Marc Janko was sent off after half an hour. Puts them 15 points clear with 16 games remaining. In the second league, Aarau continued their recent good form with a 2-1 away to Chiasso, moving them off the bottom of the league for the first time in months. Only 6 points off 3rd place now...

vikingTON
Ajax leading 2-0 in injury time at PSV, which sends them two points clear of the home side at the top of the Eredivisie. No other teams can win the title, with six rounds to go after today. Ajax currently have a nine goal advantage on GD as well.

Kris.
Göteborg v Malmö abandoned after a flare from the Göteborg end was thrown at one of the Malmö subs who then decided to pick up the corner flag and launch it in to the supporters. Watched the Norrköping vs Hammarby game yesterday which was also suspended for 10 minutes due to some Hammarby supporters going nuts after a penalty was given against them. Was a decent game other than that.

lanky_ffc
Ajax majorly Hibsed it on Sunday. They were level on points with PSV, but had a 6 goal advantage and were playing (on paper) a weaker side in play-off bound, De Graafschap. PSV won 3-1 away at mid-table Zwolle and Ajax drew 1-1 having lead early in the first half. De Boer has since resigned. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/36187511
Ross.
Basel won the Swiss league for the 7th time in a row. Still a 3 way battle at the bottom, with Vaduz and Lugano sitting 1 point ahead of bottom placed FC Zürich. 3 games left, could see any of them going down with results in the league all over the place outside of the top team. In the second league Lausanne won it a few weeks ago, mostly down to their excellent start to the season. Had a bit of a wobble in March and early April, but the bankruptcy of bottom club Biel/Bienne saw them clinch the title as the Swiss League cancelled all their results post the 18 game mark meaning only the first 2 games everyone played v Biel would count. Fortunate for Lausanne as they had dropped 4 points in their 3rd and 4th game v Biel, where second placed FC Wil had beaten them in the 3rd game and would likely have done so again given Biel had lost almost their entire squad and were set to see out the season with a mixture of youth players and amateurs. As a result of the bankruptcy, there will be no relegation from the division.
Smurph
Is it Wil that Andre Santos and Johan Vonlanthen play for? Remember trawling through the Swiss leagues on Wikipedia one evening and saw they both played for a team in the second tier. cmontheloknow
Le Havre gave getting back up to Ligue 1 a good go tonight. Went into the last match needing a seven goal swing should Metz lose to Lens. Lens won 1-0 and Havre 5-0 (their biggest win of the season), so they just fell short. Keeper up in stoppage time forced his opposite number into a decisive save. Promotion of course not decided on last day - HAC have dropped too many silly points across the season but to lose out on goals scored, as GD was equal, is a bit gutting. Ross.
Is it Wil that Andre Santos and Johan Vonlanthen play for? Remember trawling through the Swiss leagues on Wikipedia one evening and saw they both played for a team in the second tier. Yeah, Vonlanthen is at Wil and is playing like an absolute haddy. Santos is also there and had a relatively decent season. Whether or not he stays is another question as they won't be promoted. Depends on how much the new owners are willing to keep spending. I think a lot will depend on who is relegated from the top league. ETA: Walter Pandiani was also playing in the Swiss 2nd division this year, though he helped Lausanne win the thing. The twice I saw him he was fucking awful. Edited May 16, 2016 by Ross.
Nightmare
After Zenit's draw with Lokomotiv yesterday and CSKA beating Krasnodar 2-0 today, the 4-horse race for the Russian Premier Division is now down to 2 - just CSKA and Rostov remain, the latter of which continued their amazing season with a 1-0 victory at home to Ural to stay in contention. It's not quite a Leicester story, but if they can beat Terek Grozny next week and Rubin beat CSKA, they'll win the league, which would come as a massive surprise considering Rostov are traditionally a yo-yo club in Russian football, and don't seem to have had any sort of massive investment that would make them sudden title contenders. I hope they do it.
Meatwad
UEFA Champions for Season 15-16* are as follows, titles won in brackets. The ones blank are all down to the least day and will be finalised this weekend I think. EDIT 2: Skenderbeu clinched the Albanian title on Wednesday, it's their 5th in a row and seven overall EDIT 3: CSKA Moscow and Dacia Chisnau clinched Russia and Moldova's titles respectively EDIT 4: Alashkert and Dudelange secured the titles in Armenia and Luxembourg respectively, meaning San Marino is the last of the 2015-16 season to declare it's champion.
