The Chlamydia Kid
Murray has just taken a massive turd in the front garden of all the throbbers claiming he was only winning tournaments because he was playing apparent "nobodies". As pointed out, the players ranked 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th have all just been put to the sword in the space of six days. In a Mickey Mouse tournament- when he does it in a biggie and doesn't have to rely on underdogs pulling off massive shocks and eliminating the competition, being in easy halves of the draw or injuries. -

Jeez you made a big enough c**t of yourself with your premature bottle crashed post a few hours ago. When you are in a hole best to stop digging.
Diamonds are Forever
Perhaps a question for another time, but does make you wonder what Murray would have won already if he hadn't had to have back surgery. 2014 was a recovery year whilst Djokovic was steaming ahead, and Murray has gradually been playing catch up in the last couple of years, finally overtaking him. I know every player probably has these 'what ifs', look at Del Potro for example, but I think it's something that is often overlooked in the Djokovic/Murray rivalry. Probably because Murray didn't actually miss many tournaments so at first glance it probably didn't seem like the surgery had been that big a set back.

Fed would easily have traded a grand slam for the Olympic crown. Only big one missing from his CV.Murray has 2 of them
Sooky
Exactly forgot about that.. Fed would easily have traded a grand slam for the Olympic crown. Only big one missing from his CV. Murray has 2 of them Murray should trade half of his Olympic golds for half of Federer's Grand Slams. A fair deal, they both get a gold medal!
Stephen Malkmus
Good day at the tennis today. Never felt for a second that Murray was losing - an imperious performance.
Elixir
Honestly buzzing for the Aussie Open now. Usually the post Christmas and New Year period is boring/pish just in a general context, but that will certainly be one to look forward to. Absolutely love tennis and it's all down to the boy Murray. Without him I'd probably be largely ignorant of this great sport.
Distant Doonhamer
Absolutely delighted for Andy today. The guy puts in absolutely everything to keep improving. That`s what elite sportsman do and it`s why Novak will come back even stronger. If they both stay fit, next year could be absolutely awesome. Both really top players. The chat amongst the experts pre-match today was that this would be a step too far for Andy. Fantastic performance to cap a brilliant year. Amazing that Andy and Novak in terms of lost matches are both in single figures for defeats this year. It'd be a real shame if he couldn't at least win one there after getting so close so many times. I'd go as far as to say if I could pick him to win just 1 Slam next year, it'd be the Australian, as he's far better than that 0-5 record there suggests.

Thank goodness it would appear he still in fact can be arsed.
