Lex
Yeah second set Berrettini 6-4 again. Murray did at least get a break in that set there, but he got broken twice back. Long way back from here, he’s going to need to win it in five.
Left Back
Clinging onto serve in this set while the Italian is in cruise control.
Left Back
First bit of scoreboard pressure coming up for Beretini. Got out of his last service game far too easy. Murray needs to cut out the unforced errors

Lex
Great stuff to get it to a tie break from Andy there, saved some amount of break points. Now can he win it and take it to a fourth…

Left Back
That’s a bigger mugging than the first set of Andy’s last match

Lex
And it’s over in four sets with the Berrettini winning the fourth 6-3. Draw opened up for the Italian now, expect him to go far and would say he’s got an outside shot of winning the whole thing, he’s good enough if he can get the serve working consistently.Decent show from and a good enough tournament from Murray, but this was always going to be a step too far. That’s his majors over for another year, will he back for Australia in 2023?
Left Back
He just doesn’t have it any more. Too many unforced errors and a poor serve means he can’t cut it against half decent players. The third set today papered over the cracks. He should retire gracefully before he starts really embarassing himself.
peasy23
Great effort, but loses in 4. Showed enough to make you think there is still some life in the old dog, but he needs to he very lucky in draws to let him get the matches he needs to reach the sharpness required.

People have been saying that, whenever he loses, since about 2018 and thankfully he hasn't listened yet. He can rest up for Davis Cup in a couple of weeks where he'll likely play doubles with Salisbury, meaning he'd be potentially keeping the next World No.1 Skupski out, as he's likely to be the 5th man called up now due to Draper's injury.

Tried to play a couple of games after treatment but couldn't push up to serve.

Loki
From that moment above Kyrgios absolutely destroyed Medvedev. Fully deserved and will play Kachanov in the quarter final.
Lex
Some boy Nick. Knocking out the number 1 player in the world and defending champion despite having more than one heads gone during it. If he can beat Medvedev there’s no one left in the draw for him to fear. I think he’s favourite to win it now.
