MarkoRaj
http://www.theguardian.com/world/2015/sep/25/catalonia-votes-democracy-election-independence-spain The Spanish government argued that if Catalans broke off from Spain it would cost them their Spanish nationality, while the president of the Spanish professional football league said Barcelona would be left out of La Liga. “Catalans aren’t being told the real consequences of independence,” the Spanish prime minister, Mariano Rajoy, told Onda Cero radio station on Tuesday. “It would leave the EU. What would happen with pensions? There are many more pensioners than contributors. What would happen with financial institutions, with bank deposits, to the currency?” Probably not worth its own thread but I found it quite interesting the Spanish government resorting to similar tactics. Remember Marion Rajoy by the way? http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-scotland-politics-25132026 Arsehole

If UEFA decided to piss of Spain for the second time in like 4 years it would. Wonder if Spain would follow through with their threat this time? Wonder if Spain would follow through with their threat this time? Catalonia playing their first competitive game against Gibraltar would make for interesting viewing for a number of reasons. MONKMAN
It would appear the pro-independence parties are looking towards UDI. Obviously this wont happen, but surely they should be allowed a referendum to decide their own future. I cant see them shitebagging it, unlike the majority of residents living in Scotland.
