What Stadiums Have You Visited

Sweet Pete

Recommended Posts

Grounds I’ve been to for games, which no longer exist:

Ayrsesome Park, Middlesbrough - went there for a game with Sheffield Wednesday back around 1992 when Sheffield Wednesday had Chris Waddle.

Upton Park, West Ham - West Ham v Cardiff - there was a riot afterwards.

Douglas Park

Brockville

Kilbowie

Love Street

————————

Grounds I’ve been to which are no longer in the SPFL

Albion Rovers

Brechin

Cowdenbeath

————————

Been to Liverpool, Man City, Spurs, Crystal Palace, QPR, Fulham, Millwall, Sunderland, Hull City.

Been to the Olympiastadion in Munich, Olympic Stadium in Barcelona too when Espanyol played there and did a stadium tour of the Nou Camp, Bordeaux and Saint Etienne at the World Cup. Been to the old and new Wembley.

In Scotland, I’ve been to all SPFL grounds bar - Ross County, St Mirren, Arbroath, ICT, Edinburgh, Cove, Annan, Elgin, Bonnyrigg, QoS, Kelty and Stranraer. And now The Spartans.

Any reason why you have never been to Selhurst?

You seem to have visited most other grounds in South London. I am only curious as Palace were the team that I used to go and watch when I lived in London.

No particular reason, I was actually planning a visit there late 2021, but my trip to London didn't happen due to Covid. It's still on my list of grounds I want to visit, fixtures just never worked out whenever I've been in the area.

Time for an update.
I'd be offended if you called me a groundhopper, you won't see me with a wee rucksack and a notebook 😂
About 70 games a season on average, and about 15 new grounds. I only count places I've seen a game.

It's.boring.listing.every.single.ground so I'll do it in a quasi- @Marten stylee:

WOSL 4th - 3/11
