Monkey Tennis
Something to be said for the money chucked at players in this country. I know apart from the better teams in the premiership it's not that much (still more than I earn right enough) but there is no incentive as there is for a player from say eastern Europe or Africa to go abroad to earn better money and at the same time play better players and improve. So they sit and rot away in Scotland and retire at 28 because no one else fancies them but f**k it, they've made enough to set themselves up for life. And settling on a team based on championship players is mediocre. Aye, money's there but it's not quality. But we seem to settle for it. Christ, a dafter post than the one at the start of this thread. Fair play - I didn't think it could be done.

Billy Jean King
You have no right to look down on the welsh. You would love to be where they are today with their team. Jocks are so bitter they ignore the truth. Epitome of a one man band. Will be funny to see how they go in France if Bale gets fucked.

welshkillie
Wales have let two goals in so far, to suggest that we're a one man team is nonsense. Whilst we're obviously lucky to have him, the sum of the parts is greater.

Yes it's a lot easier to set up to be defensive and hard to beat when you have one of the world's best players doing it on his own at the other end

BFTD
A striker that scores, how dare he ! WTF? Strikers are the guys who hold up the ball, right? No wonder it's taken Wales so long to qualify for a tournament with philosophies like this.

pandarilla
Without Bale they would have 2 against and 3 for and would be nowhere near qualifying let alone top of the group. Let's not forget that Aaron ramsay is far, far better than anything we've got. So that's 2 attacking players. Then there's the big centre half who would improve our team immensely. As for the op, fucking hell son what an embarrassing waste of everyone's time.
effeffsee_the2nd
Anyone who does "open letters" is a self righteous twat , as for laughing at the England rugby team, you do know that for once we had luck on our side and still very nearly fcukd it up. If we'd been in their group we'd be out. If they'd been in ours they'd have won it.
effeffsee_the2nd
Get this printed in the Times. Not the Evening Times. The proper fucking Times. Are you suggesting London is more proper? That sounds like nawbag patter!
