Gianfranco
Gave that carseat headrest album a go after the posts on here. It's very very decent.Although Vincent sound nothing like the Beatles.
50/50 Winner
The new Tobacco album is awesome, definitely in my top 10 for this year.

BallochSonsFan
I suspect the new Drive By Truckers and Handsome Family albums will be high on my end of year list. Both out over the next few weeks.
Francesc Fabregas
An obvious shout but the new Frank Ocean album is a topper. It's a bit frustrating and a little inconsistent but it's all the better for it. Ethereal and otherwordly in parts, a experience greater than the sum of its parts. Gianfranco
Only played it once but I'm really liking Jamie T's new one.
Tommy Nooka
KC 'still' Rules!King Creosotes new one is great. Gave Jamie T's album a try and the first 2 songs are pretty bad, been a fan of most his stuff so will probably go back to it.
Savage Henry
Sweet jesus the new Nick Cave, Skeleton Tree, is - understandably - bleak. Even by his standards, this is a dark, dark record.
GrahamJags
1. The Avalanches - Wildflower 2. Barrie-James O'Neill - Cold Coffee 3. Bon Iver - 22, A Million 4. Trashcan Sinatras - Wild Pendulum 5. Frank Ocean - Blond 6. Daughter - Not To Disappear 7. The Stray Birds - Magic Fire 8. Travis - Everything At Once 9. Sturgill Simpson - A Sailor's Guide To Earth 10. James Vincent McMorrow - We Move Agree about the Nick Cave record. Just listened to it there and its ridiculously bleak. Suppose his son has just died so it's to be expected though. Might take myself to see his new film on Sunday. Also looking forward to hearing the new Head & The Heart record which is out tomorrow. George Parr
Aye, Skeleton Tree makes Push The Sky Away sound like a pop-party record. Not one for a Saturday night sing-along.
50/50 Winner
I'm looking forward to hearing the new From Indian Lakes album.
matty0310
Anyone listened to Baby strange's album? Absolute cracker, especially for a debut. Another great up and coming Scottish band.
BallochSonsFan
Lera Lynn - Resistor will be high on my list this year. Brilliant album.
XIII
Emma Pollock and De Rosa's new ones, both out this month. Other than that I've no clue, completely lost track of things. I presume The Cure will be putting something out given they're touring this year, off to see em in June. De Rosa's reformed? I was a fan of their earlier stuff
carpetmonster
De Rosa's reformed? I was a fan of their earlier stuff They have. New one's in the same vein as 'Prevention' albeit a bit quieter and not quite as instant; not as electronicky as MJH's solo LP. Definitely worth picking up. Thundermonkey
Any love for Here by Teenage Fanclub? More of the same but I can't complain. Things are alright in the world when they are back.
GrahamJags
Just listened to The Cactus Blossoms' album which will definitely be high on my end of year list. Phenomenal harmonies.
Savage Henry
Quite enjoying the Parker Millsap record from earlier this year. He's a lot more rootsy live, though. A bit like Dylan Leblanc in that respect, whose album is decent but pales in comparison with a live set.
BallochSonsFan
I may have seen Millsap live. He was supporting somebody I went to see last year but I can't remember if I actually caught his support set or not. I definitely remember catching Anderson East supporting Jason Isbell at the start of this year. Who did Parker Millsap support in Glasgow last year?
