DeeTillEhDeh
Frankie Boyle’s New World Order is about the only thing approaching decent political satire and that will appeal to a limited audience. HIGNFY is crap. Not a patch on Seth Myers, Steven Colbert and John Oliver. SAD. I don't mind the Last Leg even if it does have some guests that are complete tossers on it.

Dunning1874
Turkish state media reporting an Erdoğan victory in the Presidential election, putting ballots counted so far at 85%, whereas the actual electoral board also have him over the 50% required to avoid a run off at the moment but with less than half of ballots counted. It's almost as if this is a complete sham of an election which seals Turkey's descent into an dictatorship following the post coup purges of every public institution and branch of government. On the plus side, the HDP have taken more than the 10% threshold for parliamentary representation despite all the anti-terrorism charges facing their members, so those standing up for Kurds aren't going to shut up and go away.

It would save a lot of bother if they just got some British Boxing judges to do it.

cyderspaceman
I was in Dieppe last night and was having a pee at an open air urinal (dontcha just love the French?) when 15-20 flash cars came past, horns tooting, displaying the Turkish flag. Funny, I thought, they aren't in the World Cup. If I had remembered it was the day of the election in Turkey, I would have shown them the finger (or something else). I would, of course, have assumed that Erdogan had won .

G-MAN
Very annoying that SNP are abstaining in Heathrow vote tonight. That’s what Labour are for. Interesting debate on Paliament channel if you are into Politics Porn.

Govt wouldn't guarantee the " up to 15% domestic slots" amongst other things, think it may have been a matter of trust.
