shull
We are not daft. Qatari's demands will not be accepted. Fans ownership all the way.
FTOF
It would be lovely to think the majority of St Mirren fans will see your points of view, demand the bid is rejected, and press on with the fan takeover and the long haul. But they won't. You only have to look at the disgraceful way Danny Lennon was treated by far too many of them even with the smell of fresh trophy polish still lingering in the Paisley air. For all their bluster, your average football fan is a fickle friend that will happily sup with any devil giving a semi-plausible plan promising a golden tomorrow and lording it over everyone else. For St Mirren fans - forever taunted by the Alex Ferguson era and what might have been - the prospect of finally matching their potential instead of being the club everyone loves to poach starlets from at bargain prices will be too great; especially after so many seasons in a wilderness that there appears no way out from any time soon as all the clubs above and just below them get stronger. Even Morton. Of course, this could be the opening of a whole new chapter in the history of St Mirren. However I fear the chapter in question could well prove to be the opening one of "A Tale Of Two Cities". 0/

ulysses
Centre half options looking very decent now, with Webster, Gordon, Baird, and now Mackenzie. Didn't expect us to sign another centre half to be honest.
Lex
Good signing. Centre halves coming out our ears though.... He was called up for Scotland in 2011 but never capped, has a lot of experience in English League 1 and the Championship.
sergie's no1 fan
Could be going for 3 at the back with Naismith and Irvine as wing backs? We are going to boot f'ck out of everyone this season.

djchapsticks
Pretty happy with this signing. Decent big player at English league one level which should mean he's more than competent at this level.
Deefiant
Would have taken Gary back at Dens. Not seen much of him over the years but if he's as good as or better than he was he's a fantastic signing for a championship club.
