Quite why Motherwell fans have got so riled up at whats just a puff piece to big up his friend is weird. Kyle Posted March 6, 2021 Share Posted March 6, 2021 I don’t think it’s that outrageous to think a manager with 7 years experience managing in Scotland and 9 years coaching here was a more natural shout than a guy who’s never played, coached or managed here. Wright clearly told him that his time at St Johnstone was drawing to a close so Gallagher pitched up at Fir Park under the assumption that once Robinson was gone he'd finally get a chance to work with Wright. We have never appointed a manager with top flight experience in Scotland, so he had no chance. People said the same when we went with Robbo and County went with Coyle. Like aye he done well but it's hardly like he's the second coming of Sir Alex Ferguson. Back to football stuff we look like a good team now. Magloire and Lamie making us all look like mugs and even Chrissy Long doing good things. The simple change of swapping Watt & Cole to play the latter as an out & out centre forward has been completely game changing for us. Also Liam Kelly is a season saving signing.
