I'm not big on stats but is the red mark on accurate passes not a bit of a .... red flag? Or is it just that he plays a lot of passes into the box which, by their very nature, don't always find their man?

Not looked at that graphic but I often find "crossing accuracy" when spoke about to be a bit of weird stat. Of course you can plant a cross right on someone's napper but they are usually put into an area for a player to move onto. It's a thing that should be won by a defender most of the time.

Here's a summary of the squad and movement over the summer.

Fair play to Kettlewell, he's clearly understood the assignment and I genuinely can't remember us having a window that's felt as managed as this one.

Not scrambling about on deadline day? What a concept.

Wow. 29 players moved on permanently or on loan and 9 brought in. We’re it not for injuries that might have only been 7 players in.

That must be a fair chunk off the annual players wage bill.  Hopefully help us get back to parity in terms of annual budget.

Still seem quite light in terms of midfielders and hope we do not sustain any long term injuries etc 🤞

Window also felt quite planned - basically, we have brought in players that fit our system and shipped out/didn't renew the ones that didn't. I don't think there is much to complain about (and I assume if it weren't for the injuries to all the forwards, we may have added another midfield option).

The first choice 11 when fit would be a good mid-table team - but you don't have to go too far down the order to be into youth team players. We're going to need some previously unseen luck with injuries.

St Johnstone were absolutely rank for 80 minutes and Dundee missed a complete gimmie at 2-0.

Unless their two new guys from yesterday are immediate improvements to the first team they're in deep bother.

Didn't see anything else but the goal pulled back to award a subsequently missed penalty is always hilarious so long as it doesn't happen to you.

And a draw at Livingston probably our preferred result as well.

Funny how our best days are often when we don't play...

An awful lot of players on that squad list out of contract at the end of the season. Going by what he's done so far I trust Kettlewell will be all over it but it's a sobering thought that we could be sitting with 0 keepers, 2 defenders and 2 forwards at the end of the season.

I attended the Dundee United match today, hospitality due to a friends birthday, Grimshaw was a debatable man of the match.

I got into conversation with Maurice Malpas but felt it wasn’t the right environment to tell him the truth. Instead we had some banter about 1991 and our current form.

Should I have got tore into him? It would have been just his Donald Duck if he emerged unscathed.

They arent/dont look like they will be.

We've been in deep bother since we lost to Kelty about 18 months ago, this season is likely just the final act of a long running saga.

Tbf digging out a point yesterday shows a certain mental capability and a clean sheet at CP not to be sniffed at.

If you can stay in touch till January it's all up in the air again.
