Jastons6
You wouldn't know Morton were the championship side on this performance
AW saint
How bad are Motherwell. You haven't laid a glove on Morton. Keeper is a bombscare
Allroy for Prez
2 wins in 20 and an insipid cup exit to lower league opposition should see a manager get his jotters. This has been utterly criminal tonight.

Alanos
It was clear we needed to freshen the team up from the start. They looked tired.

Yet again pointing at the "if youre constantly relying on launching as many strikers on as you can to save your job, you shouldn't still be in a job" sign. A brutal 85 minutes shouldnt be forgotten because your opponents panic under pressure.

It's a massively disappointing performance and result but SK's job was not in need of saving tonight. Ill Ray
Kelly out of contract and probably going to demand a higher wage and look elsewhere. I would play Aston Oxborough for a few games now no harm in that. The first goal was criminal for a Pro goalkeeper to be flapping like that.

Kelly should bank what we offer and be grateful tbh.
Allroy for Prez
One of the worst performances of the season, and after this season, that takes some doing. As bad as Raith last year and yet another minter of a cup exit. Outfought from the first whistle and total tombola panic substitutes to try and salvage it when it was too late. Subs should’ve been made at half time. Too many folk got too excited after Tuesday, we have far too many passengers that Kettlewell is far too loyal to. RostokMcSpoons
Feck it. I was just getting back to feeling comfortable as a Well fan, and they have to chuck in a performance like that. Perhaps the players were tired. Perhaps Morton were just more up for it. Whatever, it sucks to go back to being scunnered. Is there any other decent sport on tonight to take my mind off that? Whatever, it sucks to go back to be scunnered. You never know but really, tired...it's early February and they've just had the winter break. Yes we had a midweek game but that doesn't excuse that for me. And while the manager is ultimately responsible, if Spittal, Kelly and McGinn make mistakes like that, if Miller and the midfield are outplayed by Robbie Crawford, the blame lies squarely with the players.
fat_tony
Two high intensity games in a week. Did we just run out of energy tonight? It was clear we weren't up for it from the first whistle and they were going to deal with anything that went long. Should've rung the changes at half time. This team is extremely hard to like.

Nah, we're partly in this state because we've spent money getting rid of managers, can't afford to do it again. Unless Taylor Swift writes us a cheque. But, to be honest, looking at the recent managerial appointments, who would we really want above Ketts? His heart is in the right place at least. He's still "got the dressing room" as far as we can tell. And we can afford him. Edited February 9 by RostokMcSpoons
