He's shown he clearly is when playing well but for whatever reason that form is long gone.
Hendo
2 minutes ago, RostokMcSpoons said: Nah, we're partly in this state because we've spent money getting rid of managers, can't afford to do it again. Unless Taylor Swift writes us a cheque. But, to be honest, looking at the recent managerial appointments, who would we really want above Ketts? His heart is in the right place at least. He's still "got the dressing room" as far as we can tell. And we can afford him. Derek Adams is available.

Phillips455
Quote simply, alot of the squad and the manager are out of contract in June. So Kelly will leave, possibly Kettlewell as well. Both Ross County and Livingston are basically our safety net to avoid relegation so a sacking doesn't make any sense, despite what the feelings might be. All I can say, if we get to the 5th Round next season and we are away, I'm not touching that game with a barge poll.
Well Fan
Absolute naive performance. Shelling long to 1 up was criminal. Looked so much better with Devine linking on right hand side. To little too late. Kettlewell got it badly badly wrong tonight. Scunnered.

Unbelievable that we persisted with it that long when the ball was just coming straight back at us.
Well Well
Sick of my team being a fucking laughing stock almost on a weekly basis. I honestly despair.

Will Motherwell fans under the age of 34 ever get to see their side win a major trophy in their lifetime?
alsybaba
I suppose moving forward to the next game. Casey for Butcher. Devine for O'Donnell. Nicholson for Paton. The new left back looks like a fun signing.

Did we deliberately go long as a tactic or were we forced into it because the midfield offered nothing? I appreciate there's anger towards the manager after a shite performance and a cup exit but I'm baffled he's the main target today. He can take responsibility for the season for sure, and the next weeks and months will be crucial in that. But tonight you look at guys that are supposedly top-flight being out-fought, out-played and making way more individual mistakes than a lower league side and to me they shoulder way more of the blame.

The gap between the old firm (and possibly hearts) will just keep growing. Then again we have to beat teams around out level first before getting pumped against the ugly duo.

Someone will get Morton, someone will get Thistle or Livingston in the quarters. Christ, maybe they'll even get each other and someone will have one of them in the semi. You're 100% right that winning a cup is always unlikely but the gap to the OF is very rarely the decisive factor. we should be doing better than no semi-finals in six years.
