Phillips455
I wonder if we qill take part in the 12th Eptmeber limited crowds test? Its agains St Johnstone so it should be relativley easy to introduce 200 or so fans. I have just heard in the news that the Glasgow lockdowns has resulted in Rangers Crowd test on that day being cancelled so i wonder how that will affect other clubs.
Archie McSquackle
As a Glasgow resident, would I be automatically ruled out? Assuming the limited number of tickets would be allocated by a draw of season ticket holders, getting a ticket would feel like winning the lottery until you got there and realised how pish the actual event is.

MP_MFC
I see they are letting Cambridge in a 9k stadium have 2500 for a game that day.If we get a similar ratio allowed it could allow majority of our season tickets in.
YassinMoutaouakil
I see Maribor have sacked their manager after losing to Coleraine and replaced him with Mauro Camoranesi. Wonder who we'll get in instead of Robinson. Edited September 4, 2020 by YassinMoutaouakil

Wonder who we'll get in instead of Robinson.If/when Robinson does go I'd love it if we announced some random cult hero from years ago, regardless of any managerial ability. Robinson out, Batistuta in.

(I canny see twitter in work) A reported £1m, virtually what we got paid for him. Wigan being in administration and him having a year left on his deal would no doubt have played a part. If Leicester had kept him on and loaned him to us, then Wigan and sold him to West Brom, the transfer would probably have come to about £10 million. Busta Nut
So will we make about £100K on that then? That's a random figure btw but I imagine we had a small sell on of about 10%

Still £100,000 is still a big chunck of change that i would not have expected to recieve with Wigans current state.
crazylegsjoe_mfc
I'm not sure what our sell on % was but I suppose income is income, even if it less than we expected. As much as the administration has played a part, the one year left on his contract would probably have stopped it being that much more anyway.
Busta Nut
Nah if they ween't in Admin they would still have got a hefty fee for him. English fitba is fucking wild. £100k is gutting tbh.

Desp
Is the sell on % not generally on the profit made by the selling club? So if Wigan didn't make any profit, there would be no money due to Motherwell. Depends on the wording of the contract though.

That's a random figure btw but I imagine we had a small sell on of about 10% Our accounts showed we received £750k as an initial payment so if the fee Wigan are getting is the £900k quoted then it's £150k profit which is presumably what the sell on will be from. It really depends on whether or not there were any add-ons paid on top of that £750k and as @Desp says, how the contract is worded. The accounts cover the deal with Wigan as follows: Quote "...before eventually accepting a bid from Wigan Athletic for defender Cédric Kipré. The fee will turn out to be one of the most lucrative in the club's history. In addition we have a number of clauses inserted into previous sales that may generate future income for the club, similar to Marvin Johnson's transfer from Oxford United to Middlesborough." 32. Events after the reporting date Cedric Kipre's player registration was sold to Wigan Athletic and this amounted to £750,000 excluding direct costs and future contingent fees. If Wigan have ended up paying more on top of the £750k then there's every chance they've actually made a loss or at best broken even on the big man. Only going by the old FM games sell ons can be either on the actual fee or on the profit, we all know FM is 100% accurate.
