Season ticket benefits/perks?

Recommended Posts

Here are my "supposed" benefits with this years season ticket, most of them are a lot of shite.

20% Discount on number 7 restaurant (no intention of going here).

20% Discount on stadium tour (no thanks).

2 Free tickets to bring family/friends to SPFL game (will be shite/poorly attended game).

Upgrade to premium hospitality for only £40 (gee thanks..!!).

Chance for kids to attend soccer academy (nope)

Chance to win a unique Celtic experience

How does your club entice you to buy a season ticket?

So you won't be buying one again, as usual?

Apparently, prizes on offer are

Travel with the team to European game (better make that one of the first games)

Q&A with the manager (whoever that is)

Meet the captain

Watch the team train at Lennoxtown

Signed shirts (not sure how this is a unique experience?)

Our ST costs £225 early bird south stand this season.

The South stand is £18 to get into.

Basically I pay for the 1st 12 1/2 games and get 5 1/2 free.

I missed 1 home game when in Vegas and was supposed to miss another when in Newcastle but that got postponed so I've done great for my outlay

Doesn't want to go on the stadium tour because he doesn't know how to get there.

Doesn't have any friends.

I'm actually curious about which clubs organise perks for their season ticket holders. We get hee-haw, and I'd imagine most wee clubs are the same, but Deefiant has the correct answer. Still would be interested in whose fans get the most unusual bonuses.

Surely we ought to be eligible for a discount on drilling equipment. Or fried chicken, at least   :P

At Kilmarnock we get

A seat facing the park ( no thanks)

Spat at by the blue and green weegies ( no thanks , maybe not for a wee while)

A chance to win a hospitality package at the hotel where none of the profits goes to the club ( mmmmm?)

A free Hoover to help keep the park clean

A tour around Michael Johnstons wodge made whilst on the board ( all day trip , can't afford the time off )

A chance to run your fingers through Boydies thatch .

Possibly a seat next to QLP

At East End there used to be a wee book of vouchers behind the tickets that you could redeem for a free pie or drink etc. Obviously they stopped doing that long ago. Season ticket to used to cover cup games and reserve games as well, but that too is a thing of the past.

Not had a season ticket since season 2006/07, but I hear it's just the usual discount with local restaurants and businesses.

When we got relegated in 2009 one of the perks of buying one for our 1st Division campaign in 2009-2010 was a blowjob from Dougie Donnelly.

Dundee's ice hockey link up is pretty good. Used to get into selected Stars games for free, think it's half price entry now.

This perk has been really popular with our fans as it's a cracking night out. Stars have obviously benefited from it as I know a few Dundee fans who now watch them regularly.
