Marshmallo
There's Brook looking like a child next to GGG again. -
Meth Damon
He knows most fans of his fighters are nuggets though, it's why he hates boxing fans that know their stuff because they can see through his bullshit
Marshmallo
I was being sarcastic based on an earlier comment someone made on this thread. There's next to nothing between them. -
Boostin' Kev
It's hard to tell by one pic that's taken from such an angle but that's not the point and we've posted before on here about how the physical size isn't the issue with this fight whether by (very likely strategically taken/photoshopped) ones by Matchroom or how they both look standing next to each other on the night . It's the fact Brook hasn't faced a particularly big puncher at 147 let alone the biggest by a long distance at 160. This is pretty basic stuff tbh.
Boostin' Kev
It's been posted by Matchroom and it's very likely been enhanced to promote the close fight agenda but none of us know that for sure and I can't usually be arsed speculating with boxing. One thing that's undoubtable however is that apart from the aspects you've mentioned above the angle it's been taken from significantly enhances Brooks body language and conversely diminishes Golovkin's. Can't really believe this has seriously been brought up in this thread, complete casual fan stuff.
Marshmallo
Brook's feet strategically just out of shot. -

paisleysaints
Dillian Whyte and Luke Campbell are apparently world class now Seriously jesus christ that fight at weekend was terrible. The white rhino was a mere punch bag that should've been taken clean out. Problem we have with Whyte is Hearn will feed him bums to build him and his golden boy up for a second fight.
Marshmallo
Boxrec have Whyte ranked about Ustinov. Ustinov who is fighting forum golden boy Ortiz next. -
Boostin' Kev
Yet another example of why almost everybody takes any rankings with a pinch of salt at the very least.
Marshmallo
"the rankings are wrong and I'm right"Ustinov is absolutely dire btw, is he a mandatory? -
Boostin' Kev
WBA want him to take the fight. Edited August 3, 2016 by Pete Rockwell
Boostin' Kev
2 hours ago, Marshmallo said: "the rankings are wrong and I'm right" Just noticed this cheeky comment. The boxrec front page pulls together stats which are a useful reminder for checking who's fought who, when, and the outcome. What it doesn't tell us is how the fight played out e.g. how the two styles matched up, how many swing rounds there were, whether the ref had a bad night, whether one scorecard was a robbery etc as such it's often overused by people looking to make a point about fights they don't know anything about.

J_Stewart
I fucking love Fast Eddie. Some of his cards might be questionable at best, and he may be a bit of a knob & sleazy wideboy, but he never claims to be anything else, and actually seems to revel in it. Guid lad, IMO.
Boostin' Kev
1 hour ago, Tarmo Kink said: Don't see what the point is at all. They're both shite plodders who lost when they stepped up. It's a mandatory so Ortiz has to take it. He's already beaten a top fighter in Jennings which certainly ranks him as a top 5 heavyweight for me Yeah and even if it wasn't being forced by WBA he'd have had to take the fight to have any chance at all of getting the winner of Fury - Klitschko. He gave Jennings a better beating than Klitschko did and Jennings is no mug.

Boostin' Kev
I saw that and can see why, De La Hoya only has a fraction of his previous power nowadays but why not wait until after the fight and sign with someone that can put some pressure on Fury or Klitschko.
paisleysaints
Surely the big news is really Amir Khan's been fighting with a broken hand for 13 years and now he cant wait to fight at full punching power.
