Fair enough. Was Gilchrist even fit when the decision to loan Gordon out came around? I've had it in my mind he's been injured the whole season so far. Also, upon thinking about it, I suppose it's better we let someone else's player rot in the stands while the likes of Gordon and Comrie get game time elsewhere. My issue would be if we were 7/8 points worse off, would Brown have opened his wallet and drafted in more options? I'm assuming he sees us as safe and as such doesn't want to 'waste' an additional loan wage or two.
