I suppose at this stage with no premier league teams involved, any draw would seem boring. Thanks to Covid at least we don't actually have to go anywhere near Airdrie...!

tamthebam
Cowden v City would have been an interesting game on Saturday and the tall dark and handsome Sexy Rab Mac bringing luck to the Blue Brazilians as Cowden's first foot but I suspect it will be aff..

tamthebam
Given that Spartans v Strollers (THE Edinburgh derby. Others are available, they're just shite) is off then if we'd been at "home" our game would have been off too. Plastic pitches, eh..

tamthebam
I saw this on the BBC news website- mini Murrayfield is completed. It has been mooted as a home for the MIGHTY City. Given the number of pillars in the stands it seems the SRU have gone for the cheap option rather than have cantilevered stands with no pillars. Meadowbank and most modern stands are cantilevered. Indeed when Walsall's Bescot Stadium was opened in the late 1980s looking similar to mini Murrayfield here it was slated by grounds guru Simon Inglis for being the cheap option rather than having 4 cantilevered stands. Tl:dr : pillars good for hiding egg chasing from view, shite for watching football.
DA Baracus
Shame, that could have a tidy wee ground but those pillars are awful and look like they'd make for an atrocious view.
