Hammer Jag
How can any decent human being continue to support a club like that? Fucking hell.

I actually saw that article. It sounds mildly enlightened until you read the shite about a culture under threat because they can't do their walks of hate wherever they wish. Do you not seriously think though Bennett, that even if this particular band has some progressive elements, that Rangers should not be publicly creating and endorsing such associations?
Hammer Jag
"I'm not personally a member of the Orange Order, but........" - said every Rangers fan, ever.

That's an excellent article and vid. I think most of The P&B Bears are like you - not very Orangey. It is amusing, though, to see the usuals wetting their knickers.
Hammer Jag
I just find it a bit bizarre that most Rangers fans you speak to are quick to distance themselves from any personal involvement with the Orange Order, yet are often fierce defenders of said organisation. Why would that be, they wouldn't have anything to feel ashamed of surely?

It's such types who should really be offended by the behaviour of their team.

Really surprised at the lack of tolerance towards our northern Irish friends, such a lack of respect towards other people's cultures. -

Is that meant to be clever, or amusing or something? I understand very well that you don't consider Loyalist flute bands to represent an association Scottish football could do without. I disagree though.

Probably 'leave' but I'm not that bothered. I see you didn't read Ben's link, though. Edited September 3, 2016 by The_Kincardine
Daydream
It's this orange loyalist thing that I and plenty others really despise but without it Rangers' liquidation wouldn't have been so hilarious and satisfying.

anotherchance
The ugly, divisive associations which the club he supports, seems keen to perpetuate. Testimonials are a money spinning exercise, and bigotry has been shown to be a money spinner for both participants yesterday.
