I think that’s looking at it too harshly with the intention to criticise Beale needlessly in my opinion.

If we had no intention of signing Tillman permanently then we wouldn’t have pushed for a loan deal with an option to buy. It just so happens that it seems like the player doesn’t want to join us with better offers expected to be available to him.

ETA: put it this way - Rangers are getting compensated for a reason. And that reason will be they’ve lost out on something they wanted.

Time will tell. If the signing he makes doesn’t win you the league, then it’s not harsh imo.

He’s said he can do both roles and given your board haven’t appointed a DoF and have allowed him to do dual role during the transfer window then I assume they have complete confidence in him.

I meant specifically in relation to the Tillman issue. I think holding that against Beale is relatively harsh if the player has no intention of joining us permanently.

Thatll be the nicely prepared excuse for when they spend £5m this Summer as Celtic spend £30m.

12 months on it'll never be brought up again and was just "fan gossip".

It’s actually frightening that in the current climate that a Scottish club are spending £30m in one window.

Celtic lost 3 games domestically last season , 2 of which were dead rubbers and will only get stronger.

Even if other dominated leagues like France and Germany, the winners lost 7 and 5 game’s respectively none of which were dead rubbers. Those league were also very tightly contested title races.

Celtic beat Aberdeen 2-0 in the first round of fixtures last year and were top for all subsequent 37 rounds of fixtures.

I genuinely think we may not see a winner outside Celtic in the next 20 seasons and I include Rangers in that.

An extra 8000 punters is impressive. The crowd will be heard for miles around:

It came from the fan event last night with Bisgrove though.

As far as I believe, it was mentioned that studies had been undertaken to look at the options of how to increase the capacity but nothing was said as to whether we would be pursuing it.

They have also said they have looked at the idea of lowering the pitch and adding additional rows.

I think we will need another implosion aligning with a brilliant season like we had 2 years ago for it to be a possibility.

We can’t compete with them financially.

The pitch would flood  if it was lowered.

I’m assuming this’ll have been considered when they asked someone to look at this option? I’ve always heard there would be issues with the Clyde’s water table but if they are suggesting lowering the pitch is an option (as suggested last night) then I’m assuming it’s not much of an issue.

I wonder where it will end up domination wise though ?

5 trebles in 7 seasons has our game verging on not being able to label itself a competition.

@RandomGuy.is there any other country in the world that has anything like Celtic’s domination of domestic trophies in the last 7 years ?
