Why would you be surprised at a player failing to make the huge step up between the seaside leagues and the Championship? It happens all the time, including to at least half of that particular Morton squad that won the division.If Fraser had been a permanently signed Airdrie player then nobody would have been a surprised if he later struggled at a higher level; just because he was contracted to a top-flight club at the time he's bizarrely assumed to be the next N'golo Kante.
