That said the score did not flatter us in any way. Three absolute highlights. Strollers have lost most of last season's team but you still have to beat what's in front of you I suppose.
GNU_Linux
A real stroll in the park for EK

Simmsy
Any easy game for EK. Strollers were not at the races look like a new team just put together. Biggar is a cracking player and he certainly knows how to finish. Comfortable on the ball as well. Keir Samson is obviously out the door as Thomson came on before him yesterday and obviously Cammy Elliottt started the game yesterday. The other midfielders mentioned earlier are different players than Biggar. Minnimaugh is the new signing so will 1 off the other 2 be of as well. Think EK will sign another couple of players as only Flqnnagan to come back anytime soon.
Kilbyfan
A very one-sided game against a team against whom we have often struggled (and been beaten by) Hopefully the goalkeeping position will get sorted soon-the conceded goal yesterday looked a bit of a muck-up tbh. Robertson absolutely terrorised strollers yesterday down the wing and has proven to be a cracking signing. Glad to see that the owners have opted for stability this season and retained the management team and most of the players.
Simmsy
Think the game against Celtic B shows that Robertson should not be anywhere near LL. He was excellent and passed the ball at times rather than being greedy. Biggar must be kept he gives you so many options. Thomson and Samson need to move for their sake. As obviously not in plans.

Robertson can probably earn more at EK than he can further up the leagues, hence the reason he is still there.
ekok
Agree Robbo is a proper talent. That said he beats himself as often as not. Against Celtic his decision making was better, but still room for improvement. On his day unplayable at this level. Biggar ( Calum, one of those lads that is just called by surname) is another proper talent. Really hope he stays and makes himself impossible not to start. There is 100% a player there, in his hands how this goes.
Chris_the_rover
So another loss, and no doubt another interview from big MK about how EK dominated and stuck to his philosophy and were the far better team, but let's look at facts the last 11 games for EK in all competitions, 3 wins 3 draws 5 losses At what point does he realise his way of playing football doesn't seem to be working and abandon it At what point do the EK BOD, owners, and backers realise Micks way of football isn't working and abandon him. Spending a fortune, biggest budget in the league, biggest squad in the league, without a doubt the best squad in the league, but seem to constantly choke at big games When is the breaking point Edited August 3 by Chris_the_rover
Simmsy
So today totally explains why Robbo is at EK. Holding onto the ball to long and not being able to beat the defender. Then when it does not go his way he chucks it. That defence and GK are piss poor. Balde needs taken out of the team. As i said before Leitch and Spence have no legs at all. You can now see why Balde did not get game time for teams further up. MK under pressure his team this year is not as good as last year. Required New Goalkeeper New right back Flanagan back fit. Another forward Oh and a plan b

As much as he was hot & then cold for us he should be a stand out in the LL.

He should play every week he is not great on the ball but has electric pace and if the right pass is picked will tear teams apart. But that is not part of the MK philosophy.

Nicholas Rage
Trying to not be snide. Very weird that he pays to buy Tiwi from two divisions up, presumably on a decent wage and then doesn't use him. Some bargains for other teams in the Lowland possibly available from EK right now.

The rumour I heard was they were trying to get rid of some players but the players were either refusing to move as they were getting paid a fortune or EK were asking for too much money, How true that is I don't know

Generally the rovers games are spoken about on the Albion Rovers messageboard, hence the reason there aren't alot of Rovers fans or topics on P and B, especially when the other team has the square root of 0 fans to interact with, So on here talking about other goings on in the league

Does make you wonder though if some could be prised out at a discount with EK paying just to move them on.
Clyde01
Did Cumbernauld struggle to get the ball off EK today? That’s the real question.

Surely better than jumping on another teams thread just to slag them?
