lanky_ffc
Another comfortable home victory for Villareal. Two belting goals from Trigueros and Soriano gave them a 2-0 win over Betis and heaps more pressure on Poyet. That's now 5 wins out of 6 at home, with Sevilla the only team that have avoided defeat at El Madrigal. They're a really enjoyable team to watch when they're on their game.

TheLip69
Just watched the delayed coverage on Sky. Barca were not much cop up front without Messi or Suarez. It shows up Neymar's deficiencies when he plays without their support. Malaga's keeper, Kameni almost kept Barca at bay single handedly in the closing minutes. Malaga down to 9 by the final whistle which came almost 5 minutes after the allotted 4 minutes injury time. sergie's no1 fan
Anyone who says Ronaldo isn't a team player needs to have a look at this match. Stunning performance.

It's not the first time this season that Barca have dropped players with the Champions League in mind and it's cost them points.

TheLip69
I don't think this is just down to missing Iniesta, there seems to be a general malaise throughout the side. They're a shambles at the back and not much better in midfield. The front three have had very little service but they've been ineffective with what service they have had, and as I type this Messi scores.
TheLip69
I've never been convinced by Luis Enrique and it wouldn't surprise me if someone else was in charge for next season.
Afro
Doesn't help they signed a mish mash of assorted players during the summer, and it seems they have no coherent plan to utilise any of them. Their midfield, from the on-off times I've seen them, is an absolute lottery at the best of times. It's no wonder they're struggling compared to even Enrique's debut season when instead of Rakitic, Iniesta and Busquets, you've got the latter in the worst form of his career alongside two no-marks like Andre Gomes and Denis Suarez. In saying that, I do think Umtiti will go on to be a very decent player for them, could be a good boost for them if he's fully fit ahead of El Clasico.
