Scary Bear
Estimates, pah! What do they know. They didn't see the financial crash coming.Wages have been shite for 10 years and there hasn't exactly been a revolt in the country. The Tories are still in power and have been on power for this whole period. It's shite, but the majority don't seem bothered enough to do anything about it.

bob the tank
When is Kate Hoey defecting to UKIP? The woman is an embarrassment. I heard she was screaming at an ROI politician on R4 and he couldn't get a word in or even get a right of reply at the end. A mad woman getting free rein on the brexit BBC, just par for the course these days

Part of the challenge of having never-ending Conservative government is that depression of wages is pretty much an ideological ambition. Has anyone ever seen them articulate an aspiration to increase public sector salaries? I've never known any such proposal to be met with something approaching gay abandon. There will be a number of politicians who will extract capital from their prudent handling of the economy and who will ignore the fact that an increasing number of working people are drifting into poverty.

She wants to crash out of the EU, on WTO if necessary, but is mad enough to think that the hard border that would legally require isn’t the UK’s responsibility. Well done on the Irish MP calling her delusional and calling out her ignorance of Irish affairs (she just claimed that Ireland would be following the UK out of the EU, based on nothing but her own wild fantasies).
Cerberus
It doesn't matter what utter shite you come out with or what your agenda is. All you need to do throw your support behind Brexit and Britishness and huge amount of Brits will be lapping your pish up. JD Weatherspoon loves a bit of Brexit.

It helps to move things into settled will sort of territory and limits the danger that the electorate changes its mind on something that fundamental every time there is a general election. Why would the EU have any say in what is and what isn't an independent state?

Kate Hoey wants a wall but Theresa May says no hard border. Therefore it will need to be a very soft wall like you sometimes see in safety conscious children's playgrounds. I don't know what company makes those walls but maybe it is time to buy shares.
Cerberus
Hoey wants a wall to stop Brits fleeing Brexit into the ROI.
Granny Danger
I am really looking forward to the outcome of the Irish ‘border’ issue. There are still politicians pretending that the U.K. can have a frictionless border or no border at all after leaving the EU and not being a member of the customs union. It’s like being asked which side you’d like to win in a football match and saying both. It really is as unreconcilable.
Scary Bear
Good to see Kate Hoey scrambling for relevance. I haven't heard of her since she was the Sports Minister back in the day. I assume she's got back in the spotlight because she's from Northern Ireland?

Both sides know full well that there is going to have to be a hard border with a hard Brexit. It's all posturing to make sure somebody else gets blamed for it in the aftermath.

The citizens of the UK eat 114 billion bananas each year. That only works out at 50p per banana. So we absorb the cost in curvy bananas for one year then we’re free and home. Totally worth it.
