The hard Brexit c***s strewn across England don't give a f**k about that sort of thing. It's all just a bit of collateral damage on the road to keeping brown people out and making England great again. We'r dealing with morons here.

The sooner the NI unionists and Arlene Foster types realise this the better. The mainland refers to them as Irish [emoji23]

Also why Scottish people would still be British post independence. Britain is a geographical term separate to the UK.
Granny Danger
Every nation and region of the UK would see slower economic growth as a result of Brexit, according to estimates by government officials. The forecasts, seen by MPs on Thursday, model the impact of the UK staying in the single market, doing a trade deal with the EU or leaving without a deal. In each scenario, growth would be lower, by 2%, 5% and 8% respectively compared with current forecasts. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-42977967 Ooops!

For comparison, to give people an idea of what a disaster brexit will be, the financial crash of 2008 lead to a temporary cut of around 2.5%. brexit matches that on a permanent basis in the best case scenario. Worst case is almost four times as bad, permanently.
Peppino Impastato
And to illustrate how staunch the unionist parties British nationalism is they know this and would still rather we went down with the ship than become a resource rich independent country in the EU. Hysterically so.
Fullerene
At some point the Tories will admit that they made a mistake having the EU referendum before ordering up a contract for twenty million pairs of rose tinted glasses.
John Lambies Doos
Why are we bothering with this. The UK government should travel to Brussels and beg for forgiveness. Down on their knees and say it's been a terrible mistake
RiG
But we were told these impact assessments didn't exist, the Tories tried to keep them a secret and not disclose them as well as accusing others of scaremongering. Fair fucks to anyone voting Tory after this shit show.

John Lambies Doos
Interesting. Surprised this has not been brought up before tbh. However it would have to work both ways. How could 60million people born in UK before 2019 have work access to EU countries but EU countries citizens born before 2019 not have access to UK... Unfortunately it won't work
mjw
From twitter Japanese ambassador in Downing Street unusually candid after PM meet with Nissan, Toyota, Honda etc:“If there’s no profitability of continuing operations in UK no private company can continue operations...simple as that... this is all high stakes all of us need to keep in mind.”Hope there's enough jobs printing passports to keep us all in work
