Where are we going to get Carrageenan after we have left the EU? This whole process has not been thought through at all!
AUFC90
They were though. The Scotland that enriched itself on Empire and whose ships and railway engines were exported world-wide. The Scotland who built 25% of world ship tonnage on the Clyde to support Empire. The Scotland which financed industrialised slavery through the like of Coutts Bank. The Scotland that has ports like Dundee and Glasgow made famous through a combination of slavery and industry - all through Empire. With a combination of our commitment to slavery, our trade with the Indies, our industrial output and our martial prowess we were, pound for pound, a much more Empire-focussed country than England ever was.Was that when Glasgow was the "2nd city of the empire" but had the worst slums in Europe ?
DeeTillEhDeh
You have to wonder what it will take for some of these thick gammon b*****ds to realise that it isn't fake news.
Londonwell
I learned today what the Yellowhammer bird song was- with the lyric's, " a little bit of bread with no cheese". Probably people far more intelligent than I knew that already but I found it interesting none the less. I also learned that the Gov analysis for after Yellowhammer is code named Black Swan, which I'm sure we all know what that represents. Anyway, there we are. zidane's child
So in summary, the new proposal from Boris is that the Irish backstop lasts for 4 years? Have I interpreted that correctly?
ICTJohnboy
Brandon Lewis, or Brendon, as the Northern Irish prefer to call him, making a complete cnut of himself on Newsnight.
ICTJohnboy
And now, still on Newsnight, Jonathon Powell saying that the big new proposal which will be presented tomorrow, will swiftly be rejected by the EU and the likelihood of leaving with No Deal will become almost inevitable - no doubt that outcome will delight many in the gov/t and their supporters.

DeeTillEhDeh
The gammons using the "but why didn't she say at the time" defence regards the sexual impropriety allegations. You would think that after Saville, Epstein and Weinstein that people's understanding of the issue would have improved. But clearly some are so blinkered that they would deny it even if they watched it happening right in front of their face.
