Paco
Good luck winning with that message!I suppose they tried calling half the country ‘deplorable’ at the last election, would it really be a surprise if ‘morally vacant’ was used this time?

You only have to look at welshbairn's tantrum that a bunch of Brooklyn podcasters won't vote for the senile right wing rapist on 'their side' to realise that they'll blame it on everyone but themselves if nobody is enthused or mobilised come November again.

Whoever the Brooklyn podcasters are they were pretty rubbish at mobilising the Sanders supporters to vote in the primaries, so they probably won't be that much of a loss to the Democrats.

Running an "established" and divisive politican like Clinton is partly what lost them the last election. They should have been a bit braver in their selection.

I guess it’s those Chapo boys who shared a stage with Michael Moore to no great effect. Biden has only alienated a demographic that doesn’t turn out. Never rely on the youth vote. This is all about winning four or five states to get rid of Trump.

The ‘first step act’ which actually rolls back parts of the bill that biden wrote which saw quite a large number of ethnic minorities put in jail for minor drugs offences under ‘three strikes’. What was liberal about this list of things that might be associated with Donald Trump?
BFTD
This is no doubt going to sound horrifically ignorant, but is Biden's popularity with African-American voters entirely predicated on being Obama's running mate?

Not overly. African-Americans tend to be more socially conservative/religious, particularly in the South, however the Republicans are anathema to them - since 1968 no Republican Presidential candidate has managed to get over 13% of the black vote. Sanders polls around the same with black Americans as white - very popular in the 30 and under group with a sharp fall off as folks get older. The Obama connection won't hurt Joe, but if it had been Bernie vs AN Other centrist democrat, they'd have likely swayed to the center; something like two-thirds of African-American voters describe themselves as 'conservative' or 'moderate'.

Dunno if you'll like it tbh Welshy. Does Wings have a podcast ? Would be tremendous banter if he did.

Charlotte Observer. Don’t know if anyone has caught any of his live press conferences, but it’s incoherent rambling mixed with self-aggrandisement and layman medical advice. I’ve tried not to judge his health too much, but if one of your family members were to ramble on like he does, you’d be seriously concerned about their mental health.
