The Donald believes firmly in the money makes right theory of American justice. Unfortunately, there is a tax aspect to many of his entanglements, and that trumps money. In this case, there is the fact he pissed on New York for years, and then gave them a way to make him pay. As for the voting question, in Florida, felons may not vote until having completed their sentence and restitution (unless violent/sexual conviction, then its never)...but Florida also has a loophole for those convicted in other States. In that case, the rules on voting in Florida defer to convicting State rules. He'd have shot his button mushroom off by now.
