bigmarv Posted Sunday at 12:59 Share Posted Sunday at 12:59 More cult members getting stranded at a Trump rally last night. Rugged individualism not getting the job done and it’s undoubtedly some devious Democrat plot. This one senses some criminality, I wonder, were there any convicted criminals nearby?
TxRover Posted Sunday at 19:09 Share Posted Sunday at 19:09 Coachella, Donald managed to reprise a few of his favorite lies... ...passed the biggest tax cut ever (False, ranks as 8th)... ...Venezuelan gangs taking over Aurora, CO (False, as stated by the Republican mayor, the police chief and the Republican Congressman for Aurora)... ...illegal immigrants flooding into the U.S, unlike during his administration (False, numbers are actually down now)... ...his wall was finished (False, barely started) ...there were no wars during his Administration (False, Israel, Ukraine, etc) Then he went to the Sunday morning shows to say how enemies from within are actually the biggest threat to the U.S. He'd like those "sick people, radical left lunatics” to be “handled by, if necessary, by National Guard, or if really necessary, by the military”. Note that's an explicit threat to use the military to detain U.S. citizens who disagree with him.

The media is asking everyone for statements, and finding lovely comments like a guy reporting a departing bus driver yelling that there were no more buses coming. The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department is deferring comment to the organizers, saying they had nothing to do with it. The stories also refer to the 2020 incident where Trump rally attendees were stranded in the cold. Given it’s California, wouldn’t be surprised if the campaign doesn’t give a shit. Trump claimed 100,000 attendees, rally was permitted for a maximum of 15,000, and 10,000 was the estimate from sources. Assuming school buses (least expensive option, and the picture below), that’s about 48 people per bus, and there were reports of 60 buses. So we have at least four complete round trips to get the people there and then four more to get them back. Five miles, call it 15 minutes to load (lots of older/less mobile supporters), 10 minutes to drive one way, 15 to unload, 10 more back…so 50 minutes per loop, maybe knock it down to 30 if you’re lucky…that’s three to four hours before and after the rally if all the buses are rolling. Figure $1,200 to $1,400 per bus ($500 for 4 hours plus $100 per hour…8 hours of driving plus 2 hours of rally, so 12 hours plus…might have to pay overtime) and the campaign needed to spend $72,000-$84,000 to rent the buses. Is it beyond the possibility the drivers all knocked off after 8-9 hours, because it’s all the campaign was paying for?
AyrshireTon Posted Monday at 20:59 Share Posted Monday at 20:59 Apparently Trump didn't pay for the buses so they didn't return.

The type of people who attend such things are utter fanatics and so deep in the cult that there's absolutely no chance they won't vote.
Sugar_Army Posted Monday at 21:44 Share Posted Monday at 21:44 (edited) Wishful thinking on my behalf. It will be funny watching Trump implode when he loses...which I think he will, but a lot of Americans will vote for him no matter what. Sugar_Army Posted Tuesday at 11:59 Share Posted Tuesday at 11:59 Depends on what type of criminal you are looking for. Actually, scratch that, think Trump covers all bases on that score

Nonsense “posting energy”? Yeah, I’m knackered. Need a lie down. point being Trump campaign cannot organize jack shit properly, in this case the end of a rally with supporters stranded in the middle of nowhere. Was it an error or was it campaign refusing to pay bus company? yet another example of why this fanny should not be running a country.
